Slice Onions
Cut your onion in half and slice up the onion
Prep Bratwurst
Take your bratwurst and slice the casing. Remove the bratwurst from the casing and roll it into a ball
Cook Bratwurst
Place your bratwurst balls on the LoCo Griddle at 350F and smash the balls down using The Burger Smasher. Season with MeatChurch Season Salt and after a few minutes flip over.
Cook Onions
Add a little oil to the LoCo Griddle at 350F and place your onions down to cook. Season with MeatChurch SeasonSalt
Braise with Beer
Grab your favorite beer, we used Miller Lite, and pour the beer over the onions and the Bratwurst to "Braise". Its really more of a steaming to add flavor and not a traditional braise.
Assemble and Enjoy!
Once everything is cooked. Grab your pretzel buns and add some stone ground mustard. Stack your bratwurst smash burgers two high and top with the onions. Add that top and enjoy!
